At the stroke of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the watchmaking Soprana, one of the 150 Italian Historic company, and Movitalia, the importer of the prestigious watch brand Meistersinger, created the first six hours wristwatch : the Soprana N.06.
An instrument designed to measure the time in 1794 by Giambattista Rodella, brilliant watchmaker of the Observatory of Padova, finally takes shape in an exclusive project, leading to the creation of 50 limited pieces of this particular timepiece.
The watch number 15/50, was equipped with a precious gold hand, handmade by our artist Giovenzio Posenato, which repeats the original hand of the six hours column clock built by Rodella.
The number 0/50 has been donated to President Napolitano on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy.
